Watch: What's it like to perform at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall?

There are loads of performance opportunities if you're a Music student at LIPA. They range from club and festival gigs, being part of a pit band for theatre and dance shows and performing at venues across Liverpool as you become part of the city's diverse musical community.

For the last two years our annual Christmas Concert has been staged at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. Featuring the LIPA Big Band and strings, choir and dancers it's a chance to perform in an iconic venue to a packed audience. 

Third-year Music (Songwriting & Performance) student Richie Paisley has been part of the last two concerts and reflects on the experience.
