Broadway Dance Center
We are a premier dance studio that has served professional and recreational students since 1984, featuring the largest variety of classes of any studio in New York City with an unparalleled faculty of industry professionals. Our continued dedication to the international dance community, state-of-the-art studios, and our location in the heart of the Manhattan Theater District make us the ultimate destination for dancers around the globe.
Starting in 2017, Broadway Dance Center is thrilled to provide an annual full scholarship to a LIPA Dance graduate for our three-month International Student Visa Program. This celebrated program has been carefully curated to facilitate world-class training and personal development in a supportive environment. At BDC we are honored to partner with LIPA and greatly look forward to welcoming these scholarship winners for years to come.

Orange started selling amplifiers from a small shop in London in 1968. In the 50 plus years since then it has become a world-famous brand. Based in Britain it now exports its Orange amps and cabinets to 110 countries and has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise and International Trade (Export) three times.
An important part of the company's ethos is supporting live music events, performance and education. Orange has been supporting LIPA with its equipment and expertise for over 15 years.
At Sennheiser, we pride ourselves in supporting education, strongly believing we must invest in the future of those who want to enter our industry. By helping to support and develop our future sound engineers, music producers and musicians, we know the future will be brighter.
For the past 19 years, Sennheiser has sponsored the best performing arts school in the world, The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).
During our association, Sennheiser has developed and supported some of the best students in Live Sound Engineering, Music Production and Live Performance to come out of the institute. The Sennheiser scholarship means the student chosen has the financial burden of education eased by our brand support, expertise and resources, which in turn helps them to achieve their full potential.
We want to continue to be part of the future. This means continuing to be part of the learning that our industry will need. The quality of education at LIPA is second to none and when we assist its budding sound engineers, music producers and musicians, we know we are contributing to an informed future.
SSE Audio Group and Wigwam
SSE Audio Group supplies audio services to the live events industry. The Group includes SSE Hire and Wigwam Hire, two of the leading audio rental houses in the UK with a client list that includes Coldplay, One Direction, Arctic Monkeys, Bastille, Stone Roses and virtually all the major UK festivals.
Established in 1976, SSE Audio has seen sound reinforcement develop from a fledgling cottage industry to the highly professional and complex business it is today.
As systems have become increasingly complex, the requirement for skilled, trained personnel to work within this industry has become ever more important and SSE Audio and Wigwam recognise their role in developing the next generation of audio professionals.
From April 2017, SSE Hire and Wigwam Hire are entering into a partnership with LIPA bringing Technology students opportunities for work experience and long term employment in the live audio sector. Second year students are offered work experience over the summer vacation. The Group also offers year-long paid internships to selected year-three graduates, one based at Wigwam in Heywood, one at SSE Audio in Redditch.
