Acting (Screen & Digital) students are also working with screenwriter Lucy Burke and director Owyn Stephens on four short films: Afterschool, Blank Paige, Cuffing Season and No Man’s Land which will be premiered in our short film festival: 1 Night, 4 Films.
Head of Acting (Stage & Screen), David Salter says: “We’re very excited to showcase this extraordinary and creative company of actors. They arrived with us in the final months of the COVID pandemic and worked with passion and tenacity throughout their first year.
“Since then, they have gone from strength to strength, highlighting what creative, artistic and radiant actors they are. We are righty proud of them and hope you enjoy the outstanding work they have to offer.”
Industry showcase performances will take place in week commencing 13 May in Manchester and Liverpool. To attend or join our mailing list please contact actingshowcase@lipa.ac.uk or contact Megan Pierce on (0151) 330 3026.
