With the expansion of our professional training programme portfolio within the School of Performance this is an exciting time to join us and develop your student centred practice in one of the UK’s leading performing arts institutions.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Dance Lecturer who will deliver lectures on our BA (Hons) Dance and our other degree programmes across the School of Performance. The postholder should also be able to contribute to professional development modules (industry specific business skills/knowledge) to prepare students for performing careers across the many facets of the industry and be able to offer one or more of the following: Contextual Studies/Dance History.
You will be educated to a degree level or have undergone comparable professional training at a recognised centre of excellence. A post graduate qualification in Dance and recognised HE teaching qualification, or equivalent would be advantageous. In addition, you will need to demonstrate knowledge of current developments in vocational and graduate training in the performing arts, have excellent interpersonal and team skills, and strong written skills including the ability to produce clear reports.
