Teachers and Advisers Day

Tuesday 23rd June 2026 from 10.00am - 2.45pm

Calling all teachers and advisers – join us at LIPA for our 2026 Teachers and Advisers Day.

This informative and engaging event is designed to help you better support your students’ next steps.

Discover LIPA’s distinctive approach to creative training, learn how we develop future artistic leaders and cultural entrepreneurs, and gain practical advice from our staff and students to guide your learners’ choices and applications.

What to expect

This year’s theme, Looking Back and Looking Forwards, celebrates LIPA’s 30th anniversary. Together, we’ll reflect on our journey so far, what we’ve learned over three decades, and how we’re preparing the next generation for sustainable creative careers.

The morning session features course spotlights highlighting our newer programmes including Acting (Contemporary Performance) and Acting (Musicianship), plus revised pathway options across our Music and Management degrees. Hear also from staff and students about admissions, funding and student support.

Stay for the afternoon to take part in an optional hands-on workshop in either Filmmaking, Sound Technology, Dance or Acting - a further opportunity to experience our facilities, develop skills, and explore each discipline in action.

Lunch and refreshments are included, with plenty of time to connect with other teachers and staff from across LIPA.

 Who should attend?

  • Careers Advisers

  • Heads of Sixth Form / UCAS

  • Post 16 teachers and technicians from: Art & Design, Business Studies, Dance, Drama Studies, Fashion and Construction, Film Studies, Performing Arts, Production Arts, Music, Music Technology, Media Studies and Media Production, Theatre Studies.
