Watch: One Night, Four Films

One Night, Four Films was a festival of short films featuring performances by our third-year Acting (Screen & Digital) students.

Original stories written for our students, Pepper's Ghost, Gilded Helix, Spirit Box and C.R.E.A.M exist in the same story world and blend elements of sci-fi, mockumentary, dystopia and horror to create a unique hour-long viewing experience.

Created, directed and written by Dan Foxsmith, produced by David Reiverson, the films received their premieres on 22 May at FACT Liverpool.

Pepper’s Ghost

Developers discuss the future of their new tech that enables you to relive any 10 minutes of your life. But one has already accepted a huge bid from the entertainment industry.

A Gilded Helix

A near-future reality TV show that boasts a £10 million prize. The catch? The contestant must relive the same day for 10 years straight.

Spirit Box

Present day paranormal investigators make contact with what they think is a spirit. It turns out to be the winning contestant from a nightmarish future game show.

C.R.E.A.M

In far-future England hoarding great sums of money is punishable by death. A millionaire under investigation claims he had to relive the same day over-and-over to earn his wealth.
