The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) has been named as one of Billboard’s Top Music Business Schools for a third consecutive time.
LIPA made the list in 2020 and 2022 as well this year (no list published in 2021) with the music industry publication citing the BA (Hons) Management for the Creative Industries and Performing Arts as the reason for its inclusion.
Dave Wibberley, Head of Management says: “Billboard is respected worldwide and has for many years been the premier music industry publication.
“For it to recognise LIPA as one of the world’s Top Music Business Schools for a third time is thrilling and a real testament to the work we do. It means we are continuing to hit the high standards we set for ourselves and our students.”
A US dominated list, LIPA is one of only four UK entrants and finds itself alongside other prestigious institutions including Berklee College of Music and the California Institute of the Arts.
Billboard believes students attending one of its Top Music Business Schools will be, “solidly positioned to pursue careers in an increasingly complex music industry.”
