Thirty LIPA graduates and students are putting on productions at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Among the shows are immersive dramas, an experimental multi-media show, stand-up comedy, a dance production and one person shows.
David Salter is LIPA’s Head of Acting: ““The Edinburgh Fringe is one of the most important festivals in the UK, with a global reputation for showcasing new and groundbreaking work.
“It’s fantastic to see so many of our graduates and students taking part. We're proud of their energy and creativity and wish them every success at the festival.”
Over 3,000 shows will be taking place at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, which runs from August 1 to 25. Over the last 15 years Taskmaster (C4), Fleabag (BBC), Six: The Musical (West End) and Baby Reindeer (Netflix) all made their debuts at the festival.
LIPA has several enterprise funds that students and graduates can apply for to help with financing productions, projects and business development.
