LIPA alum selected to play Truck Festival

Recent LIPA alum Joe Taylor (who performs as cozyjoe) has been selected to perform at Truck Festival this July.
cozyjoe will be performing alongside bands including Two Door Cinema Club, The Libertines and fellow LIPA graduates the Wombats.
“Getting to play Truck this summer honestly means the world”, says Joe. “It’s my first proper major festival as an artist, and the fact it’s one I’ve wanted to play for years makes it even more surreal. Proper honoured to be on the line-up”.
Joe, who graduated from our BA Music programme in 2025, was selected as part of Truck Festival’s Band App competition to identify the best emerging artists and bands in the country.
Joe promises a great set: “It’s going to be crazy fun and a bit cozy, but still with enough energy to keep things moving. I’ll be up there with my band, including Matt Forde who I went to LIPA with, so that’s a really nice full-circle moment. Getting to do this with one of my best mates just makes it all hit a bit harder”.
