Over one hundred alumni from our Theatre & Performance Design course returned to LIPA in August. Students from 1998 to the present day came together to reminisce and to celebrate Ashley Shairp upon his retirement.
Lois Maskell, Programme Leader for Theatre & Performance Design, said: “It was such a tremendous event, seeing so many talented professionals in a room together and discovering how much the course has shaped people’s lives. It was also bittersweet, as we said farewell to Ashley whose brilliance is testified to by the extraordinary turnout of alums – who had travelled from across the UK and Europe to mark his retirement. We wish Ashley every happiness, and are excited for the next 25 years of Performance Design at LIPA”.
