Overview
The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts is a world leading provider of university-level performing and creative arts training. We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join our HR Team. In this diverse and varied role, you will support all aspects of the employee life cycle and contribute to the improvement of practices and procedures in the overall HR service provision. This is an exciting time to join LIPA and be part of the launch of our new People and EDI Strategies into our work streams.
The key responsibilities will include updating and maintaining our HR database, recruitment and onboarding, preparation of offer letters and contracts, accurate production of all contractual changes through the employee lifecycle, induction, learning and development processes and training records, absence monitoring, production of the Employee Newsletter and other generalist HR duties. You will be expected to respond to, and resolve general administrative queries from line managers, generate HR analytics and support project work.
The ideal candidates will be qualified to CIPD Level 3 with previous experience of working in an HR team and of using Microsoft Applications, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word. You will have good attention to detail and accuracy, ability to organise workload, prioritise deadlines, excellent communication and team working skills and awareness of Data Privacy and GDPR. Experience of using iTrent would be beneficial but is not essential, as training will be given.
In return we offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, pension, 22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, and complimentary tickets to our inhouse productions. This is a fulltime role with hybrid working available (4 days on-site).
