LIPA does not own any student accommodation, and we therefore do not have an Accommodation Officer. However, if your accommodation issues are affecting your mental health and ability to study, then please do not hesitate to contact the Student Wellbeing and Disability Service to make an appointment, so we can discuss appropriate support we can put in place for your wellbeing.

We may be able to support you with general advice and guidance relating to housing problems, but we are unable to support with legal issues, such as disputes with landlords.

You can find signposting for housing support on the Wellbeing and Disability Resource Hub, but the current page includes some key resources.

Liverpool Student Homes (LSH)

Liverpool Student Homes (LSH) is the official university-owned accreditation service in Liverpool. They provide advice on accommodation issues as well as advertising a choice of private student homes in Liverpool.

You can search on the LSH website for accredited properties in Liverpool. Landlords and agents must meet the quality and service criteria set by LSH in order to receive accreditation. LSH can also support with redress and formal complaints procedures should something go wrong during your tenancy.

You can contact Liverpool Student Homes by email at LSH@liverpool.ac.uk or by calling 0151 794 3296. You can also visit their website for further information.
