Three LIPA grads listed in The Stage 100

Leading industry publication The Stage has released its list of the 100 most influential people working in UK theatre and it features three LIPA Acting graduates.

Jamie Lloyd (2002), Adam Penford (2001) and David Hutchinson (2009) have all been included in the annual list.

Director Jamie Lloyd is at number 10 following another successful year that included seven Olivier Awards for his production of Sunset Boulevard, including The Peter Hall Award for Best Director.

Adam Penford, who is artistic director at Nottingham Playhouse made the Regional Theatre section alongside his colleague and chief executive Stephanie Sirr. The Playhouse put on a series of strong shows including a sustainable revival of Lucy Kirkwood’s The Children and James Graham’s Punch – which transferred to the West End.

David Hutchinson is listed under the Producers (Commercial) section. David is CEO and founder of immersive event specialists Path Entertainment Group. Last year it opened The Paddington Bear Experience on London's South Bank, while Dungeons and Dragons: The Twenty-Sided Tavern was performed in Syndey, Denver and New York.

Now in its 28th year The Stage 100 is compiled by editorial staff and leading industry figures. It focuses on achievements in the past 12 months, but also takes into account overall standing in the industry.
