We are looking to recruit a Singing Teacher to work on LIPA 4-19, providing classes for young people aged 4 to 15 on Saturdays and Sunday mornings.

LIPA 4-19 Academy offers children and teens aged 4 to 19 of all abilities the chance to go on an exciting personal journey to stretch their imagination, develop their creativity and grow in confidence.

They take part in enjoyable acting, dancing, and singing classes tailored to different ages and abilities on weekends, usually over 12-week terms.  The LIPA 4-19 classes are truly inspirational, fun to be part of and suited for both child development and the budding performer.

We are currently looking for inspiring individuals to join our teaching team.

You will have:        

  • a formal qualification from a recognised institution.
  • professional experience in the related area.
  • experience of staging/producing childrens’ performances.
  • wide knowledge and understanding of your specialist area.
  • experience of working with young people in a teaching environment.

You will be innovative, creative, and adaptable.  You will be passionate about your specialism, a team player and enjoy working with young people.  Enhanced DBS clearance will be required.

The rate of pay for teaching ages 7 to 15 is £28.72 per hour (including holiday pay)
