Other responsibilities include
- The delivery of a proactive, comprehensive, professional and integrated payroll and pension service, including supervision of two payroll / pensions staff.
- To support the team with monthly/yearly payroll and pension reconciliations, ensuring compliance with HMRC, pension regulations and statutory deadlines.
- To support talent acquisition and recruitment, including onboarding
- To oversee HR administration including offer letters, contracts and changes in terms and condition
- To advise managers and staff about policies, procedures and processes and update as required
- To support HR processes including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management
- To contribute to projects such as the implementation of the new HRIS as part of the implementation of the Human Resources Strategy.
The ideal candidate will be qualified at least CIPD Level 5 and will have proven experience in HR and payroll management with a keen eye for detail and prioritisation as we process payroll and pensions contributions inhouse. You will have excellent technical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in payroll systems, excel and Microsoft packages are essential. Experience of working in education and processing teachers’ pensions would be advantageous but is not essential as training can be provided. This is a fulltime, office-based position to commence as soon as possible. Some hybrid working is available.
In return we offer a highly creative working environment that will inspire you to fulfil your potential and training opportunities to develop your skills and experience, competitive salary commensurate with experience, pension options (default scheme ER 4% / EE 4% or enhanced contribution ER 16.48% / EE 8.6%), 25 days holiday per year rising to 30 after 5 years’ service plus statutory bank holidays, Christmas closure and complimentary tickets to our inhouse productions.
