Gold
Tuesday 30 January 10.30 – 18.00
Wednesday 31 January 10.00 – 18.00
Thursday 1 February 10.00 – 18.00
Theatre & Performance Design and Theatre & Production Technology students present an exhibition of mini-sets and installations inspired by the theme Gold.
Likened to the ‘tears of the Sun’ by the Incas, and ‘flesh of the Gods’ in Ancient Egypt, gold has captivated and inspired cultures around the world for millennia. So great is the desire for this precious metal, entire civilisations have been built, and destroyed, in its pursuit.
Students have explored the theme of Gold in all its luminous glory to present theatrical designs and installations inspired by its symbolism and use. Expect the dazzling and the divine!
Created by first-year Theatre & Performance Design and Theatre & Production Technology students.
Suitable for all ages.
