Interested in our undergraduate courses for 2024 entry?
We know how important it is for you to visit your future place of study in-person. Our Sunday afternoon 45-minute guided tours are a great way to look around our buildings and see the facilities we offer, while you get that all important feel for the place.
Each of our tours is led by up to two of our student or graduate ambassadors. Depending on your subject interest you may be in a group of up to 20 other visitors.
We will always do our best to match you with a student or graduate ambassador from your subject area, but we can’t always guarantee that. If you are interested in Musical Theatre, we will try to match you with an Acting student or graduate, the course is in its first year and we do not have any student or graduate ambassadors with a Musical Theatre background. Rest assured, that all our ambassadors are experts in providing building tours and talking about the student experience at LIPA and Liverpool.
Please note, unlike at Open Day events lecturers will NOT be available for questions and some facilities may not be open.
On each date the timings of the guided tours are as follows:

15:30 (please arrive to register at 15:15)
16:45 (please arrive to register at 16:30)
Please note: advance booking on our open days and guided tour events is required. Please bring your confirmation email when you attend one of our events.

Our open days for 2025 entry will be held in June and July 2024 and October 2024.
The June/July open day dates are usually publicised on this website after Easter.

We are a 15-minute walk from Liverpool Lime Street and Liverpool Central train stations.

From the M62
At the end of the motorway, follow the signs for the city centre and then for the cathedrals.
At the Metropolitan Cathedral, turn left, head along Hope Street towards the Anglican Cathedral, and then turn right on to Upper Duke Street.
LIPA is on your right-hand side.
Car Parking
Pay and display parking is available on many nearby streets including parts of Mount Street, Pilgrim Street, Hope Street and Rodney Street (please check signage, as some bays are reserved for resident permit holders).
This on-street parking is currently free after 6pm, or at all times for Blue Badge holders.
Additional parking for Blue Badge holders is available in our lower car park, which is accessed via Pilgrim Street. These spaces are available on a first come, first served basis.
