Overview

You’ll be working in one of the UK’s leading performing arts institutions. We enjoy a global reputation for the quality of our teaching, our world class facilities and an enviable track record of graduate employment.

As a member of our Technical Services Team, you will be responsible for providing audio visual, sound reinforcement and digital video services/support to our staff and students and, occasionally, external clients.

As well as supporting our students’ learning you will provide technical support for major events including open days, masterclasses and Graduation. You will also be responsible for booking out equipment and maintaining a robust booking system.

You will have a degree in media/audio-visual technology or related discipline, have a good working knowledge of all associated technologies including a wide knowledge of presentation systems. You will have experience of working in a technical capacity for both teaching and live events. You must have experience of operating digital video capture and editing systems. A working knowledge of Keynote is essential.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a structured approach to problem solving and knowledge of working with and installing audio visual equipment.
